My name is Cailyn Brookens, I am a junior studying Human Capital and Society in the area of Human Resources and Labor Relations. Also, pursuing a minor in organizational leadership and hoping to continue my studies in the MHRLR dual graduate program. During my time at MSU I have been involved in Big sister Little Sister and the Black student Union. I believe in change management and bringing people together for a common goal. My passion comes from community service and giving back to others.
Currently, I am the Vice President of the College Advisory Board for a nonprofit organization where we provide leadership to students attending 50+ college students around the nation who originally reside in Chicago. Our mission is to create opportunities to intersect between college life. Lived experiences, and civic engagement. We build community through the combination of sharing knowledge, developing skill sets, and networking.
