The Julian Samora Research Institute at Michigan State University celebrated its 30th anniversary by hosting a national conference in East Lansing, MI, on Oct. 31 -- Nov. 2, 2019.  The conference theme was "Latina/os and the Renewal of U.S. Democracy." The major topic areas were: health disparities, business ownership and entreperneurship, and service delivery gaps, but papers and panels were accepted on other topics.
